Rodolfo and Weaver cite Villivalam’s leadership and commitment to healthcare, economic justice
Chicago (Mayfair) - Today, Democratic Candidate for State Senate Ram Villivalam (IL-8) announced the endorsement of Reclaim Chicago and National Nurses United.
"On behalf of the more than 150,000 National Nurses United members nationwide, I am proud to announce our endorsement of Ram Villivalam for State Senate," said National Nurses United Midwest Director Jan Rodolfo, RN. "Ram's track record of effectively fighting to make sure that everyone in Illinois has access to quality healthcare is exactly the type dedication and leadership we need right now in the people we elect to represent our values in government. We are committed to getting Ram elected and we look forward to working with him as the next State Senator of the 8th District."

Ram Villivalam most recently worked as Legislative Coordinator for SEIU Healthcare Illinois & Indiana, advocating on behalf of more than 90,000 Home Care Providers, Child Care Providers, Nursing Home Workers, Hospital Workers, and the people they provide care for. Previously, Ram served as the Outreach Director for U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider, working with manufacturing organizations, unions, immigration groups, and community colleges on more than 20 policy areas.
