Nearly half of Illinois Democratic Congressional Delegation has endorsed Ram Villivalam for State Senate

Chicago (Mayfair) - Today, Democratic Candidate for State Senate Ram Villivalam (IL-8) announced the endorsements of U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley (CD-5) and U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis (CD-7).

Quigley and Davis join Schakowsky, Schneider, & Krishnamoorthi as nearly half of Illinois Democratic Congressional Delegation has endorsed Ram Villivalam for State Senate. "I am proud to endorse Ram Villivalam for State Senator in the 8th District of Illinois," said U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley. "Ram will be a champion in the fight to end discrimination based on race, gender, and against LGBTQ individuals. He will also help lead the charge to take on the NRA by working to pass common sense gun violence prevention legislation. I look forward to having an effective, proactive colleague in government at the state level."

"I am excited to announce my support of Ram Villivalam for State Senator," said U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis. "Ram has a proven track record of fighting for social and economic justice. I know he will work hard to enact a living wage for working people and expand healthcare to ensure that it is affordable and accessible for everyone."

"I am honored to have the endorsements of Congressman Mike Quigley and Congressman Danny Davis," said Democratic Candidate for State Senator Ram Villivalam. "Congressman Quigley and Congressman Davis have been on the front lines of standing up to Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric and dangerous policies.
